day off and a reading list
I have been wanting to do some good reading lately. Brush up on some old classics that I haven't read in a while. Read some that I haven't yet. You know. Good stuff..
So, I am thinking of reading the following, in no particular order. Atlas Shrugged
Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy
That should do me for a little while. I endeavor to start posting my reading lists. Maybe others can recommend some good things to read.
EDIT: My trip to the bookstore netted me far more than I expected. A kid in a candy store...
What I got:
- A collection of the writings of Kant. "Basic Writings of Kant"
- A collection of the writings of Nietzsche. "Basic Writings of Nietzsche"
- Alas Shrugged - Ayn Rand
- The Canterbury Tales - Geoffrey Chaucer
- Paradise Lost - John Milton
- The Prince - Niccolo' Machiavelli
I am leaning towards reading Paradise Lost first. Gentlemen...start your eyeballs!
